Philippe
Mius was born 1660 in Pobomcoup, Cape Sable, N.S. He is the ancestor of the Indian branch of the Mius( Muise, Muse
, Meuse) Family. Philippe Mius married twice. Both of his wives were Mi'kmaq women and Philippe's Children Lived among
the "sauvages" on the East Coast in the 1708 census.
